Interiors
Interiors #1 #2 #3 is a play and conceptual work written and produced by Mehmet Süzgün. Exploring abstraction as both form and interior landscape, it weaves fiction through the mother/daughter and interviewer/interviewee relationship. Its narrative moves across abstractions on art(works), interior design, class difference, and queer/camp aesthetics and treating interiors as sites of projection, desire, and contradiction. Conceived simultaneously as an installation and a play, the work shifts meaning through three structures—Abstractions, Negative Dialectics, and Scaffolding— each staging a different relation between abstraction, desire, and interiority.
