Sandscapes, 2026

Multimedia installation with live performance.

10' audio in collaboration with Monumelt.

Sandscapes is an audiovisual installation and performance that activates the Library of Objects, an archive of small items gathered through personal encounters with people who donated them. A sand table acts as a place for exploring the subtle transformations of objects — their potential to shift, dissolve, and become something else.

In this space, personal memories and dreams intertwine, shaping an evolving landscape of fragile images.

Through a public invitation, I hosted individual sessions within an intimate setting, inviting participants to donate a small item to an evolving library of objects. Each encounter began with a conversation where participants shared the memories and personal stories tied to their donated item. Afterward, they were invited to create their own tactile composition—a personal landscape—using the gathered objects from the library, translating a dream they had experienced the night before into a visual form.
