A Duet

‘A Duet’, consists of 12 steel pieces that echo the moment of contact between dancers and the ground. The first step of this work was about witnessing dancers moving and building up a graphic score, the second about translating the 2-dimensional graphic score into 3-dimensional space using steel as my medium. Through these observations and considering both mover and ground to be equal partners in design, any point of contact holds the possibility to become a floorplan and spatial arrangement.
