To not

On the 7^th of May, I filled a glass with water and I brought it to my desk. Since then, I did not drink the water and I brought it to every place I went. I did so until it evaporated completely into the air. I did not drink it, it emptied itself instead.

In this performance, I kept an action lingering in a state of almost being done, actively choosing to not do it, with care and patience, following the trace of the active inaction. The consequence of this action (glass being empty) happens even if no one has done the action. With these and other of my artworks I explore not prioritizing efficiency.
