Bootleg Bookshelf

In collaboration with Karina Rovira and Ivalù Chantal Macrolin we created a transportable library that can function as a place
for theory and rest. Made site-specific for the community of squat Huis Vrederiks, to whom we have gifted it last month. The modular textile pieces can function as stations for reflection as well as a practical sleeping place. For when one would have no bed to rest their head.

On March 15th 2025, we hosted a workshop were participants could assemble their own compilation of text, materials and image. The zines are placed in the shelf so they

can be read and reconstructed by others. This way the collection will continue to grow through interactions by its readers. Except for the paintings on silk, this work is made completely out of scrap and found materials.

In collaboration with Huis Vrederiks we are hosting continuous workshops in order to actively work with the texts and thoughts we assemble.
