Through observing the surrounding environment, Lana's practice thinks about highlighting and restructuring its material and pictorial elements where the mediums of drawing, painting, printing, as well as found objects such as sandpaper, change her reflection on the materiality of nature and body.

Her methods connect through process, where size, movement, pressure, scratching, and repetition influence her work either on the surface or in the space.

Lana's practice draws a reflection on the tranformative potential of understanding and reinterpreting the usual rigid views on the connections of systems and flows present in nature, the body, and the machine.
