Biography
Nadoe is an artist, composer based in Amsterdam. Their work delves into the physical and mental boundaries of perception and identity, focusing on dynamics at the thresholds of sonic experience. Through immersive and tactile compositions, they reveal hidden infrastructures and forms of communication, using sound to ignite aesthetic listening and altered perception, inviting audiences into resonant, shifting states of awareness.
Floating Points Composition
The dynamics between fluid, shifting points are captured, transformed and composed. Rather than aiming for fixed outcomes, the installation and performance offer a space and moment for sensing and reflecting on the relational flows between the scripted and the unscripted acts. The performance extends beyond what is immediately visible or audible in the exhibition space. Field recordings from daily life, traces of erased labour, and the audience’s own memories and sensations become active components in the unfolding. These elements are not simply layered but dynamically recomposed—interfering with, attuning to, and reconfiguring one another across time and space. Lines like fracture lines, connecting lines, boundaries, thresholds are drawn and redrawn throughout this process. Each carries its own weight, direction, and texture. Through synthesis and interaction, they challenge the visual and conceptual edges of the work, inviting the audience into coexistent acts of listening, sensing, and reimagining.
